Tomb of Khai Dinh
The Tomb of Khai Dinh, located in Hue, Vietnam, is the tomb of King Khai Dinh, the 12th emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty. Built between 1920 and 1931, the tomb is a unique blend of Vietnamese, French, and Chinese architectural styles. Unlike other Nguyen Dynasty tombs, it features intricate ceramic and glass mosaics, elaborate interior decorations, and European-inspired elements. The highlight is the Thien Dinh Palace, which features a gilded statue of the emperor and a beautifully painted ceiling. Although smaller than other royal tombs, the Tomb of Khai Dinh stands out for its exquisite craftsmanship and artistic grandeur, making it a must-see attraction in Hue.
