Built in 1942, the Chua Buu Long pagoda is renowned in Vietnam because of its gorgeous amalgamation of architectural styles from countries throughout Southeast Asian including Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam. Many locals even call it the “Thai temple” for its distinctive style, and because it practices the same Theraveda branch of Buddhism as in Thailand. The temple is also unique in that worshippers do not use candles or incense to pray, and only the Buddha is revered here - most temples also worship other deities. Despite the ornate exterior and serene gardens, the temple interior is simple and modern, bordering on the austere. On the top floor you’ll find relics from Buddha and his disciples that are revered throughout the Buddhist world.

Song Vinh Church is situated along National Highway 51, passing through Tan Thanh district, Bà Rịa-Vũng Tàu province. The structure has become a religious hub, not only for the local residents but also attracting distant travelers for contemplation and exploration. This is an architectural marvel crafted in the Gothic style. From the exterior, it resembles a grand European building adorned with intricate carvings, exquisite sculptures, and a meticulously tiled structure made from stone bricks. The church features numerous large windows adorned with colorful stained glass. The distinct grayish-white hue of the stone gives the church a remarkably impressive appearance.

Saigon Notre-Dame Cathedral Basilica (Notre-Dame de Saigon) is a famous landmark in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Built by the French between 1877 and 1880, the church features stunning Neo-Romanesque architecture, with red bricks imported from France and two bell towers that rise to 58 metres. Located in the heart of the city, the church is a symbol of Saigon’s colonial history and religious heritage. In front of the church is a statue of the Virgin Mary, which some believe once shed tears. Today, the church remains a major tourist attraction and an important place of worship for Catholics.
